Great Expectation's Qualifying Course

Address of class location is sent with confirmation of registration

This ten-hour class establishes a framework for homeschooling and will appeal to both seasoned and new homeschooling parents.  It is also a great course for those parents who are simply considering the homeschool option for their children’s education.  Completion of the course fulfills the Washington State legal qualification requirements for parents who do not otherwise qualify to provide home-based instruction. The course is sponsored by Cascade Bible College.

The instructors have homeschooled children from birth to college entrance and have provided many years of service to the homeschooling community in Washington State...

GREAT EXPECTATIONS does not promote one curriculum over another, nor do we recommend one method of teaching over another (natural learning, traditional, etc). We believe that these are personal decisions and that each family must decide what is best for their family.

**If paying 10 days in advance you'll receive a discount of ten dollars.

There is a home correspondence course which is composed of audio tapes that are available for a four week loan period throughtout the year.  The home correspondence course can be taken at any time and in the convenience of your own home.  This course meets the Washington State requirement to homeschool and the certificate you receive upon completing the course is valid for life.  Tapes, notebook and instructions are mailed to the student.  When the student has completed listening to the tapes and the assignments, the tapes and paperwork are returned and the instructor mails the deposit refund and a certificate of completion.  The student may keep the notebook.
